How much does the agreement cost?
Nothing. The template is completely free – no sign-up, no subscription, no hidden costs. Filling it in and signing it with Tamgara is free as well.
Is a digital signature enough for a car sale?
In most countries a private car sale contract has no mandatory form, so it can be signed electronically. Tamgara creates a simple electronic signature under the EU eIDAS regulation. Many people also print the signed contract for the handover – that is up to you.
What should a private sale contract cover?
The warranty exclusion (“sold as seen”), the exact mileage, known defects and the handover of all documents. The template covers all of this – you just fill in the blanks.
Can the buyer sign remotely?
Yes. After filling in the contract you can send it via Tamgara as a signing link. The buyer signs in the browser – no app, no account – and both parties receive the final PDF with a signature report.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. When you fill in and sign for yourself, the document stays entirely in your browser. Only if you invite others to sign via link is the contract stored temporarily on a server in Germany and deleted after 60 days at the latest.
